Hi fellow travellers!
I’ll be heading to Vienna this autumn for a short 3-day trip, and I’d love some input from those who’ve been there before. It’ll be my first time in Austria, and I’m trying to plan wisely so I can experience the city’s charm without rushing through everything.
I’ve been researching a bit and found a lot of lists online, but I wanted to ask you all—what do you consider the best things to do in Vienna?
I’m especially interested in:
-
Classical music or opera (but not overly expensive options!)
-
Historic cafes or local food spots
-
Palaces and museums that are really worth the time
-
Easy day trips or quiet parks to relax in
Also, is the Vienna Pass worth it for a few days, or would it be better to book individual attractions?
I love walking, photography, and just soaking in the culture of a city, so anything along those lines would be amazing to hear about.
Thanks in advance for any tips or experiences you’re willing to share!
Cheers,
Emily
