It’s said that the emperor had the most exquisite jewels, including the famous Koh-i-Noor diamond, on display here. I’ll never forget the first time I visited the mosque with a group. We climbed to the top of the minaret, and from there, you get an unmatched panoramic view of Old Delhi—its chaotic streets, the Chandni Chowk market, and the iconic red buildings of the city.
