Posted in the topic UNO Game Online in the forum Introduce Yourself
    July 11, 2025 12:26 AM PDT

UNO is more than just a card game—it's a universal symbol of friendly competition, laughter, and occasional betrayal. Played by millions across the globe, uno online is one of the few games that transcends age, culture, and even language. With simple rules and dynamic gameplay, it's no wonder that UNO has remained a household favorite for over 50 years.

Whether you’re gathering with friends, spending quality time with family, or challenging strangers online, UNO delivers fast-paced action with a perfect blend of luck, strategy, and unpredictability.

UNO was invented in 1971 by Merle Robbins, a barber from Reading, Ohio, who created it to resolve a family disagreement over the rules of the card game Crazy Eights. Robbins designed a unique deck and set of rules that added special action cards and streamlined gameplay.

Initially selling decks from his barbershop, Robbins eventually sold the rights to a group of local investors for $50,000 and royalties. The game took off in popularity, eventually being acquired by Mattel in 1992. Since then, UNO has become a global sensation, sold in over 80 countries, with hundreds of millions of decks in circulation.
