Sports has the unenviable task of reintroducing Mut 23 Coins to its players every year. However, I did take a look at some of the really innovative ways EA is redefining Madden's foundational elements. What will you notice first? Passing has become incredibly more intuitive. Madden quarterbacks were once afflicted with a very limited arms movements. we could throw at a high speed and throw the ball into the sky on long routes. The new mechanics are on something of an upward curve. The pace on your throws are determined by the exact duration you hold down the button, which gives you greater flexibility in how you position the ball to your receivers. You know how Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams were able to come up with routes as they went along? It's kind of like that.
It took me awhile getting used to the changes and then, once I had a grasp of the differences I was able to conclude that Madden 23 presents the possibility of a greater level of skill over previous games in the franchise. Your quarterbacking skills are dependent on how skilled you are when it comes to inputs, which is a welcome change from the dice rolls and animation locks that have had thousands of fans waiting for the unpredictable RNG whims after throwing a button hook. It has me excited to play the game on the internet at first since I've been playing for years in order to discover how the best players in the game take advantage of the increased liberty.

EA has claimed that the new Madden's animations for tackling are more real and less likely to jam the ball carrier into an unnatural, cheesy loop. It will take the full range of features from Madden 23 before we can make a judgment, but EA seems to not be reinventing the wheel here. This is the same engine, same aesthetic and the same overall design philosophy that has powered the series for a long time. However, Madden 23 is looking to tackle some of the long-running problems that have plagued the game for as long as I've been playing it which is much more appealing to me than any new coat of paint other modes will receive. EA seems to be focusing on the core, couch-multiplayer feel of Madden and then expanding its offerings from there.
